Colgate used to sell oral hygiene products like toothpastes, mouthwashes, toothbrushes, and dental floss. It was manufactured by the American-Consumer-goods Conglomerate Colgate-Palmolive. The company originally sold soap but 16 years after the death of Mr. William Colgate( The founder) the company sold Colgate oral hygiene products in 1873.
The colgate introduced in New York in 1896. 1920’s in Singapore, and in the Philippines it was introduced in 1940’s. Colgate established its first factory in India to produce toothpaste for the domestic market until it became the highest selling in the world in 1999. In China, Colgate occupied 20% of the market share for toothpastes in 2002. While in Brazil it also commanded 70% of the oral care.
What does Colgate will do to our personal hygiene? It improve our mouth health, fight the germs and improve gum health. Colgate gives choices and recommended different flavors. It all helps fight cavities.
But what does the importance of brushing our teeth. Brushing is one of the most important steps in our personal hygiene.
