We all need a good laugh. They say that laughter is the best medicine and it is true. Medicine for problems, stress and sickness. Because laughing is good for our health.
When it comes to comedy, one of my favorites is the best comedian, Vice Ganda! He can easily provide us funny things and he never fails to make us laugh. If you’re also a fan of Vice Ganda’s humor, you will surely enjoy watching The Revenger Squad. This is Pia Wurtzbach’s first starring role and it’s good for her. The acting is fair.
The first thing I’ve noticed with the “The Revenger Squad” is the colorful production design. Children will surely love the superhero characters and elements of the film . Gandarra (Vice Ganda) is a typical superhero who fights for the good. With the help of the rest of the squad, their combined forces save the world and the forces of evil who plan to conquer the earth fail. Everyone gave their strong performances especially Chino (Daniel Padilla) and Cassy (Pia Wurtzbach). They were all trying to protect what is more precious to them. Kaladkaren also added some spice to this movie. This is a fast- paced movie. Just another fun movie of Vice Ganda you can never resist. The narrative really works well, very funny, cheesy , there’s a little of violence and there were also corny jokes that I’ve already heard before and yet still enjoyable. The vehicle to deliver jokes is pretty passable.
The unexplainable appeal of Vice Ganda to the Filipino mainstream is really undeniable. Though the movie is some kind of ordinary comedy movie with no such profound substance, it still captured the hearts of many. Because we all love our family, this movie shows us that we can have family not just by blood but by our choice.
